Mechanism Of Action Of Paracetamol
- Acts on the hypothalamus to produce an antipyretic effect, as fever develops when the hypothalamus is set to a higher-than-normal temperature.
- May work peripherally to block pain impulse generation and inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.

Method Of Administration Of Panadol Advance Tablets
- Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 16 years and over: Swallow 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children aged 10-15 years: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give for more than 3 days without medical advice.
- Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours.
- Swallow the tablet with a full glass of water, with or without food.
- Panadol Advance features Optizorb technology, allowing it to dissolve in 5 minutes and relieve pain within 15 minutes with a 1000 mg dose (2 tablets).
- Do not take more than the recommended dose.
- In case of overdose, seek medical attention immediately, even if you feel well, as excessive intake can cause serious liver damage.
